The association is a committee of parent volunteers whose aim is to organise social events for the school community to help raise funds for extra resources for the school

New Hinksey School Association works together with teachers and children for the benefit of the community as a whole. We are keen to get as many parents involved as possible. We put on events such as the Summer Fete, Christmas Bazaar and quiz nights which offer an opportunity to get the community together whilst raising funds for the school.

Through fundraising we are able to contribute towards resources for the school. Items we have bought in the past include a sound system with a microphone, digital video cameras for children to use in class, skipping ropes for playtimes and books for classrooms. Money raised also goes towards treats for children at New Hinksey such as seasonal gifts and subsidising special trips.
