Later this month I will be jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet to raise much needed funds for Bridge Creative, a community interest company based in Bishop Auckland.
Bridge Creative have been supporting adults with learning impairments and/or autism across County Durham to keep safe, well and connected throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their Keeping People Connected service has been life-saving for many of the people they have been supporting, helping people overcome extreme trauma, depression, relationship breakdowns and abuse.
Bridge Creative offer creative work experience, training and employment opportunities for young adults with learning impairments and autism but due to Covid-19 their usual services have been unable to go ahead.
The team were supposed to be supporting a small group of adults with learning impairments to work at Glastonbury festival this year but that too ended up being cancelled.
Bridge Creative is a non-profit organisation and all funds raised will go towards the running of their vital services.
