As anyone who knows me, I am passionate about helping people on the streets.
People are so misunderstood and the reality is that it could actually happen to anyone of us but most of us are lucky enough to have a good support network when life may not turn out like we planned.
The YMCA is this support network for so many people, it is the support that people who find themselves on the street need.
They not only offer housing but the support that gets people back on their feet and supporting themselves.
Unfortunately the YMCA will have its funding cut and we want to raise the money to ensure that this very important service is still available.
As well as this we want to raise awareness about the amount of people who sleep rough, how most of these people have hit hard times and need a helping hand and that they are people and not the stereotypes that we are lead to believe.
