My daughter Isobel had her first seizure at 10 days old and has had countless in the 4 years since that day. When I first found out about Small Steps - Seize the Day and met up with some of the other parents I finally felt like we weren't alone. I'm proud to be involved with the charity and of the work we do providing support, running activities and loaning essential equipment.
On Sunday 20th September I am part of a team swimming in a Rotary Swimathon in order to raise money for small steps. Anyone who knows me knows that this will be quite a challenge, as I haven't really got time (and generally can't be bothered) to do any exercise! But I'm going to try my best and think about my lovely girl to keep me going.
