Who are We and Who is this Fundraiser for? We're Heaton-based female professionals and friends Beate and Mariley, and on 3 August we'll climb Mount Snowdon to raise 2K for Newcastle Women's Aid. In times like these, where all the focus is on primary care and physical health, support services such as the one provided by Newcastle Women's Aid are often short on funds, and not considered essential. However, the COVID-imposed lock down restrictions have only exacerbated tensions in households across the city, leading to an increase in domestic abuse cases. Please sponsor us today, and help us fund this incredible organisation saving women's lives in Newcastle.
