Sam Ryder / Dan Alford. As usual, we signed up to do this trip months ago with the intention of getting fit and have failed...only a month to go, and we are again regretting our life choices!! The last time we climbed Snowdon was around 30 years ago, so I suspect we might find it a bit trickier this time! This is all for a really great cause - Our Place Support CIC who I have volunteered for during the last 18 months. They provide mentoring services for children and young adults, plus advice services for the elderly and vulnerable - services which are in really short supply following the withdrawal of funding by the financially challenged Birmingham City Council for so many services. Please give generously - it will incentivise us to haul our out of condition bodies (with quite a lot of kit that we also have to carry) over the 11 mile route with 1,160 metre ascent. Thank you! Sam (and Dan). Photos of the team at the top will be provided to evidence!
