Through the pandemic we have seen record numbers of abuse and violence against women. Almost every woman and girl has experienced some level of sexual abuse in their lifetime. Ahead of the 'International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women', myself and a small group of girls will be walking the Harrogate Ringway, a 20 mile trek across the outskirts of Harrogate and Knaresborough. We are raising money for Leeds Women's Aid, a charity that supports women and families affected by domestic violence and abuse. We also hope to raise awareness of the distressing crisis that we're facing today. Anything you can donate would be so greatly appreciated.
