I am running the St Albans Half Marathon for the St Albans and District Food Bank.
Local people across the St Albans District are at the heart of everything they do. When money is tight or life takes an unexpected turn, St Albans & District Foodbank is there to provide emergency food and essential hygiene items to individuals and families facing difficult moments. They offer support six days a week, throughout nine foodbank centres located across the district.
Alongside food, the foodbank offers a warm welcome and a cup of tea, where people can take a moment to pause. Their wellbeing team can help people connect with local advice and support, at their own pace, so they don’t have to face challenges alone. Everyone who goes to them is treated with kindness, dignity and respect. They are more than a foodbank.
