You know the score - work for the Farm, live and breath the Farm!... and rope your friends and family in for fundraising along the way... After 15 years (yes 15 years!) of dreaming, the Farm is about to be given the keys to a super duper new building. It has three classrooms, offering each project a dedicated space to deliver activities from, and a training kitchen so we can incorporate more cooking, growing and eating activities. Despite this amazing progress - we don't have the cash to fit out the new classrooms with tables and chairs, install the kitchen or buy the appliances. Without these integral innards it is just a shiny shell! BUT - we have hatched a plan to raise a further £10k to complete the building and therefore maximise its impact as soon as possible. Part of this plan involves Matt (I'm currently exempt due to the size of my bump!) running the Bristol 10k on May 15th with some other willing Farm-lovers in a bid to raise £1500 between us. So - If you like the Farm (and/or if you love me and Matt) please swap out a weekend treat and swap in a donation to support the Farm open this stupendous building in its full glory and ready for sue by some of the most in need families, young people and adults in Bristol. (Small print bribe: donate £15 or more and your name (or someone you nominate) will appear on the 'Thank you donor wall'. The bigger your donation, the bigger your name. Also, if we reach Matt's target of £100 he's promised he'll run it in a costume... you might even get to pick the farm based theme!) Anyone that wants to join me to cheer Matt and the rest of the farm team on would be very welcome - 15th May, I'll bring the flapjack!
