I will be attempting to run The Suffering 10k Obstacle Race at Rockingham Castle on Saturday 12th March 2016 with my brother Andrew Leonard.
I'm running this race to raise money for Borderline Arts based in Derby.
What is Borderline Arts?
Borderline Arts is a new arts and mental health charity. Borderline, Borderline Art and Borderline Theatre (now collectively known as Borderline Arts) were all projects founded by Sarah Eley and run by a fantastic and dedicated team of volunteers. In all we do, our goal is to use creativity to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
More and more people are being diagnosed with BPD; what I am attempting to do is help raise money toward Borderline Arts awareness raising events.
Many people suffer with mental health conditions such as BPD, go undiagnosed and are allowed to fall beneath the cracks of society. I have witnessed Borderline Arts go from strength to strength and would like to help out in any way I can.
I am hoping to raise as much as I can because I know that every little helps!
