I am fundraising for The Mentoring Lab to continue the amazing work we are able to provide to support young people. More specifically young people that commonly live on social housing estates, often from unemployed or low-income households, with limited resources to pay for extra circular activities, holiday clubs, or investment into interests or hobbies.
Despite the potential these young people hold, many are at risk of being excluded from school, are exposed to and exploited by perpetrators in gangs, however with the work we do at TML we have been able to overcome these barriers and help young people excel.
To fundraise I will be walking a 5Km route (just after completing over 10km a few days before for Charity Week!). Please help us to help our young superheroes by sponsoring my walk!
In the last 12 months, we have worked with over 500 young people helping them to see that there is a reason to keep progressing, offering hope for their future – giving them the opportunity to break the cycle of deprivation and to develop to their full potential.
Your efforts can help us support those in need especially with the additional hardships faced due to the Pandemic.
Local giving currently has a Corono Virus Match fund- meaning for every £1 you donate they will double!! So if you donate £10 it is as if you have given the young people £20.
Please share this page and donate as little as £1 so that we can build a greater future for the generations to come.
