Why they need our serviceThe Charity supports palliative care for patients in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, helping to improve the quality of life for people (including carers) with a life-limiting illness. With the Charity's help the hospital is able to offer important services such as pain management, symptom relief, psychological help and advice.
Plan and expected resultsSupporting the Palliative Care unit will help improve care and treatment for patients during a stay in the unit. The Unit has 18 specialist palliative care beds and supports over 200 patients and their families each year.
