Us three Suffolk Lifers have signed up to do the Suffolk Whole Hog on Sunday 19 October. This involves 8+ miles of running, obstacles and plenty of mud - eek! I’m running on behalf of the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) – a fantastic charity made up of doctors, nurses and medics who, in their spare time, are on-call to be dispatched to 999 emergencies in the local area – either road accidents, or accidents in the home, if an ambulance can’t get there quick enough. They save so many lives yet no one seems to have heard of them! I want to raise as many funds as possible for them so they can buy necessary live-saving equipment. The best bit about fundraising right now is that Local Giving is currently matching every donation up to £10. And then my company matches everything we raise overall! So your £10 becomes £40! Even £1 becomes £4! If you could please even donate a few £s I’d be so grateful, SARS do such good work!
