Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page for The Proud Trust, a life saving and life enhancing organisation which helps young people empower themselves to make a positive change for themselves and their communities. They do this through youth groups, peer support, managing the LGBT centre for Manchester, delivering training and events, Campaigns, undertaking research and creating resources.
I will be running the Clowne (with an 'e' - a town in Derbyshire - so no chance of seeing me in over sized comedy shoes and a funny nose) Half-Marathon for the second time, whilst keeping up my fitness with a view to running my 4th Marathon in the Spring / Summer of 2018.
Last time I ran this race in 2012 it was freezing and terribly windy - for which I was blown into fields and hedges on several occasions. I hope this time around the weather is far kinder!
