About

Bath City farm is 25 years old and we have 25 runners in the Bath Half Marathon and I am one of them! Crazy huh! But just to be a bit crazier still I decided I'd do it dressed as a chicken.

My running isn't fast and it isn't pretty but I hope to run the first lap 11k and walk the remainder - that will be a great success if I can manage it - a real challenge.

The Farm would love your support. We run 10 different projects for vulnerable people, different ages, different situations of need. There's something very special about caring for animals and planting and nurturing things that grow. Turns out it's healing for people too. At our farm we grow people. I'm fundraising so we can keep these projects running and build new ones for the future.

Hoping you will join me on my journey. The run is Sunday 15th March 2020. Come and wave me on!

Update from Liz

So I started with a couch to 5k with Hannah the Runner and I'm pleased to say that this complete novice can now run 5k. My plan is to run the first lap, about 11k. I will consider that a success!
