An 'edible classroom' at Five A Day would be an innovative outdoor teaching area. We would like to build a wooden pergola and plant a living surround using fruit trees and climbing grape vines and hops.

Why they need our service

The creation of an 'edible classroom' would provide a fantastic and attractive outdoor teaching area for our learners which include school children, adults with learning disabilities and older people. Our gardening volunteers would benefit from an attractive space to socialise and enjoy a rest from their gardening activities.

Plan and expected results

We would expect at leat 500 children, adults and older people to use the 'edible classroom' during 2012 and beyond. These would include school children, brownie and scout groups, learners with learning disabilities, older people and older people with Alzeimer's as well as our customers and gardening volunteers.
