About About The 3 Peaks Challange

The Yorkshire Three Peaks route covers 24 miles (38.6k), and includes 5200ft (1585m) of ascent. The peaks are: Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m), with the challenge usually taking the peaks in this order, and in under 12 hours. The peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
