***UPDATE *** Our incredible volunteer Scott and his team of hikers (including our own therapist Verity and premises manager Michael) all bravely took on the Welsh 3000s challenge the weekend before last to raise money for Imara. The weather was unfortunately not on their side, and the team were forced to end the hike early for their safety. They went up again the next day, joined by our very own Christy, to salvage what they could of the challenge with better weather but were too far behind to complete all 30 miles and 15 peaks.
We are so so grateful to Scott, Becky, Jo, Nick, Michael and Verity (and Christy!) for their amazing efforts, and we are glad they made the right call to end the challenge early before it became any more dangerous.
***ORIGINAL *** Scott Browett and his team of hikers are taking on another challenge on the 13th and 14th July to raise money for Imara!
This time they will be journeying to Wales for the Welsh 3000, aiming to complete 30 miles and all 15 Welsh peaks over 3000 feet in just 2 days!
An incredibly difficult challenge to attempt, please dig deep and show your support to Scott, Anabel, Becky, Charlotte, Gail, Jo A, Joe, Lisa, Michael, Nick, Nyomi and our very own Verity by sponsoring what you can.
