My wife Jan and I have signed up for the London to Paris bike ride in July in order to raise some funds for the amazing local charity Jeremiah's Journey. Jan and I turned 50 in the last two years, have been married for over 30 years and are very lucky to have three wonderful daughters and a grandson. We wanted to do something special this year and a bike ride from London to Paris just seemed perfect. Everyone wants to see the Eiffel tower in Paris, although most couples fly there rather than ride a bike. The last two years have been very difficult, with family bereavements and scary health issues for us both. We just want to draw a line under things and focus on something which is positive to help regain our fitness, whilst helping people who are not as fortunate as us. Jeremiah's Journey is an amazing charity looking after children who have lost either a parent or sibling. They are totally self funded and have to raise £250k per year to keep going. Please sponsor Jan and myself on our bike ride to Paris, around 299 miles over 4 days, it's not going to be easy, but well worth raising funds for this wonderful charity. Our target is £3000 +, please please please help us make a difference to the lives everyone who relies on Jeremiah's Journey. Many thanks for your support. We will keep you updated with our training and achievements over the next few months on here and on Facebook/Twitter. Kind regards Jan and Paul Winterton
