Hello all!
As most of you know I've worked for Weston Church Youth Project for 7.5 years now and in that time have had the privilege of working with and supporting a number of awesome young people.
WCYP exists to enable, equip and encourage the young people of Weston to LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL and contribute to the wider community. Our activities provide young people with fun safe places to spend their time, gain new skills, broaden their horizons, get support, advice and encouragement and learn about the Christian Faith.
In May I, along with 6 others are taking on the NATIONAL THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE (climbing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales - Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon - in 24 hours!!) I'm pretty excited about attempting it, but need the encouragement and support to keep going...
I would be very grateful if you could support me in this - either through prayer or financially - preferably both :)...My aim is to raise £1000 (100 people donating £10 or 50 people donating £20...etc) with all 7 of us in total raising £5000.
The money we raise would be split between our Achieve school based work -helping to address attendance, parenting and behaviour issues to improve engagement with education - and our Faith based work - groups and events providing the opportunity to explore the Christian Faith in an accessible way.
Thank you in advance for your support - it's much appreciated and will make a big difference to the lives of the children and young people of Weston :)
