On Saturday 25th July 2015 Chloe and Rebecca Brighouse are going to attempt the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. This involves walking from Horton-in-Ribblesdale via Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough returning to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, with 5,000ft of ascent and a distance of 24.5 miles, in under 12hours.
We are raising money for Throstle Nest Riding for the Disabled. Throstle Nest RDA enables disabled children and adults to have a go at horse riding. The people who come really enjoy the sport, we can tell this as we can see progress in the way they communicate with both us and the horses. It costs a lot to keep the sessions going, not just paying for the lessons but also buying specialist tack, because some people cant use ordinary saddles and equipment so they can do fun activities in their sessions.
Please sponser us, and help us to make a difference towards our group.
In the words of the RDA 'It's what you can do that counts'
