Toby and Jake Running the Bath (half)

**BATH HALF CANCELLED** Very sadly, due to the astonishing weather conditions the Bath Half was cancelled. But never fear your very generous donations have not been wasted. Jake and Toby are planning to run a different half marathon later in the year. The brothers hope to be back for the Bath Half in 2019. Thanks so much for all your support. Jake, Toby ad the MS centre really appreciate it. ---------------------------------------- Toby and Jake are heading home to run the Bath Half on 4th March 2018! Neither of them are natural runners and have only taken it up in recent years and neither of them have run a half marathon before. Don’t expect world-beating times… They’re raising money for the Wessex MS Therapy Centre (http://217.199.187.68/wessexms.org/) . The centre provides therapies and community for people living with Multiple Sclerosis and other serious medical conditions. The more money the boys raise the more people can be supported and the more therapies can be provided. With just a few weeks to go the boys are in prime form just a little bit achy and sore but confident. -------------------------------- February 2018 In to the final week and last training runs are complete. Jake and Toby have (to the amazement of some) completed the planned training programmes. This doesn’t mean that there’s any chance of wold beating times but there is more confidence in getting the two brothers across the line (that’s the finishing line, not just the start line). A real push on the fund raising has seen the initial target reached – thanks so much to everyone who has donated. It’s great for the brothers to be making a real contribution as well as challenging themselves and each other.
