I am training for my first half marathon for 13 years (unlucky for me). I enjoy running but not that far! So to give me some extra motivation I am raising funds to support the Friends of Jubilee Pool. They are a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers who rescued our beloved neighbourhood pool from closure by taking it into community ownership. They have a long road ahead to reverse years of under-investment, to fix the roof (literally) and to keep this hugely important community asset open.
