I'm running the Cardiff Half as part of Tirion's Rainbows who are a community group who came together following the tragic death of Tirion Preddy in 2017. Tirion was 5yrs old and had always been a healthy and happy child, but in the weeks leading to her 5th birthday she began to fall a lot and her mobility deteriorated rapidly. Tirion was diagnosed with a tumour in her brain stem (a DIPG), which is incurable. Sadly we lost Tirion 6 weeks after her diagnosis. 
As a tribute to Tirion and the memory of her the group are raising funds to re-develop Llangwm park in Pembrokeshire, one of her favourite places that is still very special to her family and friends.
