Hi - welcome to my fundraising page - I hope you'll give generously!
Cycling the Land's End to John O'Groats has been on my hit list for a while now and to be honest I decided I'd better do it before it's too late!
The total distance is 1000 miles - that's an average of about 70 miles per day. We'll be taking 2 weeks to complete the trip. I'm going to be doing this with a bunch of other folk who should know better. It's being organised by a company called Peak Tours and thank goodness, they take care of all the logistics - all we have to do is stay in the saddle.
There are about 20 of us in the party.
I'm raising money for a local charity 'The John Taylor Hospice" in Birmingham.
And what I suggest is that you think of how many pence per mile you'd like to sponsor me for - it's easy maths and I like round numbers.
So 1p per mile = £10
See I told you it was easy!
Thanks on behalf of all the wonderful people at the Hospice who will benefit directly from your generosity. My target is to raise at least £1000.
