Somehow I got talked into competing in this years Tough Mudder competition, London South West - 2nd May!!
Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. It's also a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating, world-class obstacles they won't find anywhere else - like crawling face down under barbed wire, through mud, climbing walls and swinging across water trenches! (Yikes!)... Superb fun - only 78% of people actually managed to finish the course last year.
I've decided to use my Tough Mudder efforts to raise funds for The Hebe Foundation Youth charity who create innovative, inspiring projects for disadvantaged young people. I'm passionate about their efforts to provide Young People with a safe environment in which to expand their minds, learn new skills and discover their talents in fun creative ways. The emphasis is to equip them with the skills needed to thrive through honest, hard work with a determination to succeed, no matter the circumstances. With your support my folly may not be in vain ;-)
Rest assured that your donation will go a long way in supporting youth projects across London. If you are able to support, I am happy to receive donations no matter how small or large for this cause.
