We promote and support Transition Initiatives throughout the Malmesbury Community Area. We're here to bring individuals and groups together, avoid duplication of effort, and act as a catalyst for change.

We are facing increasing pressures from rising energy costs, climate change and long-distance fossil fuel supported supply chains. Transition Malmesbury is about improving our resilience to systemic shocks whether from rising oil prices or failing banks, meeting more of our needs locally and building a stronger, more self-reliant community.

The more we achieve the less vulnerable our community will be to factors beyond its control. Through reducing our demands and meeting more of our needs locally we will have more local employment and more opportunities for future generations to live and work in a sustainable community.
