We are going to walk from Beddgelert to Penmaenmawr over 3 days in a bid to raise money and awareness for the John Taylor Hospice and all the hard work they do.
In November 2012 my Father Dixie Deen passed away from cancer, but he was able to remain at home through his final days with the amazing hard work and dedication from the staff at the John Taylor Hospice and their Home Team.
We are trying to raise money so that the John Taylor Hospice has more funding for people in need of not just care through the day, but also a helping hand through those harder nights, giving a chance for family members and carers to rest.
In order to raise money and awareness, we will be tackling the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Our journey will take us over the summits of Snowdon, Glyder Fach, Glyder Fawr, Carnedd Dafydd and Carnedd Llewelyn, before descending to the coast.
We will set off at dawn from Beddgelert on 20th September 2013 at and altitude of approximately 50m above sea level, then reaching heights of 1085m above sea level at the peak of Snowdon. Then on 22nd September 2013 arriving at the train station in Penmaenmawr, west of Conwy, at Sea level on the north coast of Wales.
The team members include myself James Deen, Iain Dunne and Jack Deen, and we will be travelling with everything we need for the journey in our rucksacks.
Please donate to this cause and help us reach our targets, as the money and awareness will help somebody get the end of life care that we all will one day want.
Each gift of:
