Liz Johnston (HMH Trustee) and Connor Mathieson are doing Via Ferrata Xtreme on Saturday 16th March 2013 to raise funds for HMH. Via Ferrata is Latin for Iron Way and uses a series of metal cables, rngs, ladders and bridges to cross the mountains. Via Ferrata Xtreme involves "Sky walking" 1000 feet off the valley floor with nothing between you and ground except a single cable! Go to http://www.honister-slate-mine.co.uk/via_ferrata_xtreme.asp to see what Liz & Connor are doing for HMH.
