I truly believe that every single person is special, valuable and has potential beyond their wildest dreams. It's one of my life goals to try and help people to know this truth about themselves, that THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!!! So in whatever way big or small, I hope to encourage people in this. I'm taking part in this campaign to raise awareness and funds for YMCA Milton Keynes who serves the homeless of Milton Keynes. Please give generously and give someone the chance to get off the streets and turn their life around so they can start living up to that amazing potential that we all have inside of us. About YMCA MK SLEEP EASY 2019
Sleep Easy is our staple fundraising event which aims to raise money to help prevent youth homelessness. By participating in this event and sleeping outside, you will experience one night of what a young homeless person experiences every day. YMCA Sleep Easy Why should you participate? Milton Keynes has been named the homeless youth capital of the UK in a recent article published by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism. Many of the young people that come to us are vulnerable, socially isolated and in desperate need of a safe place to stay. The funds raised will go towards our new campus that’s due to open in September 2019. This will be a community hub for local young people and will provide accommodation, well-being and support services to help them belong, contribute and thrive.
