Kids shouldn't go hungry

More than a third of kids are living in poverty in the North East according to the End Child Poverty Coalition. You can check the data for yourself. It's grim.

I'm fundraising again this year for my local Bay Foodbank in Newcastle. I've a series of runs, walks and gym sessions planned over the next month or so. It includes the 25 press ups a day #ShareMyShit challenge for 30 days on Twitter.

It's not entirely a charitably endeavour. I've piled on the pounds over lockdown and need to get back into shape. The discipline of regular exercise also helps my mental health.
