To mark World Book Day 2021, in a year that has pressured parents like no other - we want to raise £250.00 to pay for a course for 20 families to support them helping their children to read. Families will gain a free place, and will be identified by local professionals. ABC to Read will use this online course to help with a free online workshop to empower parents in gaining new skills to support their children.

- Supporting children’s reading – role play exercises
- The importance of praise
- Exploring picture books
- Reading comprehension and asking the right questions
- The importance of making reading fun
- Importance of rhyming
