We’re so lucky to have everything we need, and your presence at our wedding is honestly the best gift we could ask for, and the only one we need. But if you were thinking of giving something, we’d love you to consider supporting MK-Act — a local charity that helps women and children escaping domestic abuse.

 This year marks MK Act’s 50th Birthday. For 50 years, MK Act has provided life-saving support to thousands of people experiencing domestic abuse in Milton Keynes.

Demand for their services has never been higher, and their current refuge accommodation is at full capacity, leaving many vulnerable individuals in desperate need of shelter.

To continue providing essential support, MK-Act are building a new refuge in Milton Keynes, and we’re sponsoring a flat to help create a safe, welcoming space for families starting over. It’s a cause that’s very close to our hearts — shaped by Maddi’s personal experience — and one we’re proud to support together.

So, if you might have bought us a toaster, or some plates, or knives and forks — you still can! But instead of giving them to us, to replace things we already have, they’ll be part of helping someone begin again, in a place of safety and hope. If you’d like to contribute, you can do so here.
