Nine Members of the Winchester Live at Home Scheme are taking part in a Walk-a-thon relay at the Littleton and Harestock Show on Saturday 3rd September.
Those taking part in this event are all over 60 and regularly join in with our Monday Walking Group so now they want to put their stamina to the test and see how far they can walk during this annual event. In three teams of three they will make relay laps of the 1/4 mile parameter of the field where the show is held.
Winchester Live at Home Scheme is a local charity offering support and friendship to older people living in their own homes; helping to maintain independent living, improve well-being and reduce isolation.
Support our Members by sponsoring their efforts and aiding in the continuation of all Live at Home services.
