I have taken on the Wolf Run 10k mud and obstacle challenge to support Our Place.
Our Place are a community interest company that offer advice and support services to children and families in need.
They support in the region of 100 people every week at schools or their community hub in Sutton Coldfield.
Their mentoring programme helps children and their families to deal with difficult issues such as bullying, self harm, stress, depression and domestic violence to name just a few.
The money that I raise will go directly to Our Place who will be able to use the funds to offer their support to even more children and families over the coming 12 months. They currently have an average of 20 people waiting for their support at any one time and are aiming to reduce this so that people can access support as soon as they need it.
The support they offer is not one-off it is life changing and they can support those that need it the most for 12-18 months.
