Ready Generations is a charity that brings people of all ages together to have fun, care for each other and learn. We believe that nature is our first carer and now it is our turn to care for our environment and planet. A great way to do this is to ask older people to teach children about the wonders of nature.

That's what our Wonder and Wander Morning is all about! We will use the beautiful Grosvenor Park in Chester to explore nature in all its glory through an action packed morning of outdoor learning and laughter!

We have decided to combine this special morning with fundraising to improve the outdoor environment at our intergenerational nursery in the heart of Belong Care Village, Chester. This will benefit our very young children and their grand-friends in equal measure. They love spending time together in the garden and play areas.

Research suggests that getting outside into nature can improve our mental and physical health whatever age we are. It can help us to eat and sleep better and feel more connected to each other. What could be a better reason to get your wellies and coat on!

By raising awareness of the beautiful, natural things that are right on our doorstep we hope to inspire a lifelong love of nature within our community.

This is a family event that all generations can enjoy together and your support will mean we can do so much more to raise awareness of both the value of bringing different ages together but also pressing lessons from nature and our responsibilities as custodians.

The money we raise will be put to spectacular use to create specialist areas in our garden for bug hotels, birdlife, vegetable growing and tree planting to name but a few ideas.
