Due to the lockdown, many existing women/service users suffering from Domestic Violence/abuse need the support of the centre now more than ever. Their mental health will be affected even further and anxiety will increase. Unfortunately Domestic Violence not only impacts on the one being abused by the perpetrator but it also affects the other people in and around them. This could be children, mum, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, friends etc. Derby Women’s Centre have set up a live chat service and would like to be able to offer further telephone support with another specialist DV Worker and any funds raised will go towards this.
