The Young parents drop-in runs every Tuesday at the Wings Hall from 10am-12pm. It is run in coordination with Sure Start. A tutor from the local college (Petroc) also attends offering literacy and numeracy qualifications.

The Bideford area has a high percentage of young parents, many of whom need supporting. A lot of these parents were not accessing local government provision due to feeling out of place there. The Wings hall provides a friendly and non judgmental atmosphere for young parents to come and feel supported.

Young parents will be able to access the services they need and get support where it is needed. It will also give young people a route back into education and employment.
