Team Fundraisers
Young Futures is an organisation that supports young people aged 16-24 leaving the care of Social Services in South East London. We provide housing, key work support and Dramatherapy - www.youngfutures.co.uk
Seven brave team members that work within the organisation as support workers, key workers and Dramatherapists have taken up the challenge to complete the 'Spartan Race.'
A five kilometer obstacle course that consists of
- a barbed wire crawl
- a fire jump
- a Hercules hoist
- a slippery wall
- a rolling mud
- a sandbag carry
and many other Spartan worthy challenges!
We originally decided to take on the challenge of the Spartan Sprint because we wanted to fundraise and contribute towards the building of our new unit 'Yvonne House.'
However, in light of the recent earthquake in Nepal and the hundreds of people who have been affected, including one of our team members, we have now changed our fundraising objective to raising as much money possible to send over essential items to those in need in Nepal.
