Young at Heart ULO C.I.C. is a grass-roots dementia care organisation founded to meet the unmet needs of older adults living with dementia and their carers in and around the Stockton on Tees area. Founded in 2010 and formally established as a CIC in 2022, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia and their carers by providing a range of supportive community activities and services.

We run a range of different services, including peer support groups, activity groups, cognitive stimulation therapy, maintenance cognitive stimulation therapy, musical memories, day trips and dementia training for family, friends and professionals.

Our services directly benefit older adults with dementia, their carers, and the wider community by reducing social isolation, promoting well-being, and offering respite and support to families. We continue to explore opportunities to engage the local community in dementia care awareness.
