The Vietnamese Family Partnership (VFP) is a grassroots charity in London committed to uniting and empowering the Vietnamese community. Founded by Quynh Nguyen in 2019, VFP builds on a legacy from 2007, when Nguyen started the Vietnamese Women's Association to support those facing domestic violence and child protection issues.

Addressing Community Needs: The Vietnamese community in London struggles with economic hardship, language barriers, and cultural isolation. The cost-of-living crisis and rising hate crimes against Asians have heightened these challenges. VFP addresses these issues with tailored support services.

Core Services and Impact:

  • Advice and Advocacy: Navigating systems for benefits, employment, housing, immigration, education, and healthcare.

  • Cultural Preservation and Enrichment: Vietnamese language classes, cultural events, and heritage projects to strengthen identity and belonging.

  • Community Building: Social interaction and support through drop-in centres, luncheon clubs, and volunteer opportunities.

  • Youth Empowerment: Mentoring, educational support, and leadership programs to develop skills and confidence.

  • Elderly Care: Assistance with daily living, healthcare access, and social activities for seniors.

  • Collaborative Approach: VFP partners with organisations, government agencies, and community groups to enhance impact, advocating for policies that benefit the Vietnamese community.

Sustainable Future: VFP relies on grants, fundraising, and partnerships to ensure ongoing support. Our goal is to foster a thriving, inclusive, and resilient community where everyone can reach their full potential.
