To maintain and conserve the site for future generations by opening from April to October weekends 10.30am till 4.00pm. Schools welcome and guided tours arranged by our Archaeologist. Special visits arranged via our website. We have artefacts in our display cabinets in our Educational Visitor Centre from medieval finds excavated from Bagot's Castle in the 1930's to enhance visitors' experience of the Castle. Our mission is to preserve our Heritage for future generations.
We continue to update and enhance the facilities around the castle site. Latest additions include a wildlife walk and reconstruction of an 18th Century Summerhouse.
The castle is staffed entirely by volunteers, and funds are always needed for repairs, maintenance and improvements. We are currently seeking donations for materials to complete the Summerhouse project.
Why the community needs us
Historic 14th century ruined castle open to the public and schools in a beautiful part of Warwickshire.
Our impact on the community
We have restored Bagot's Castle, opened an Education Visitor Centre, restored two Saxon ornamental ponds, landscaped the site and provided footpaths around the attractions. We have restored a WWII Alvis tank testing track which is located on the site and can be seen by visitors.
