To raise funds to help the men, women and children in Berkshire living in poverty to Survive Winter by giving them additional support to pay higher household bills and cope with difficult weather conditions.

Each year people die needlessly during the winter, as a result of living in a cold home. In Berkshire there are 53,340 people over 75 and an estimated 28,000 households that are fuel poor. People are having to choose between heating or eating. It does not have to be this way.

We will distribute funds to individuals and groups to provide direct benefit to the elderly and vulnerable families struggling in with fuel poverty. Monies raised will make sure those most in need can afford to keep warm and well this winter.
