Our long established, independent charity supports local people with a disability and those who care for someone with a disability. We don't charge for our services and so constantly seek funding to be able to continue our work. Disability can impact any of us at any time. Please help us to be here when it matters.

We have been active in our community since 1986, dealing with any issue related to disability or caring. We look at each person as a whole, dealing with each problem they may face. We provide confidential long-term help for them, their carers and their families, providing options and possible outcomes to help them make the best decision. We support people by telephone, face to face, through outreach services, filling in forms and writing letters.

We are here to assist out clients no matter how small the problem - we have beenhelping some clients and their families for many years. Our aim is to reduce stress, to look at ways to improve quality of life through maximizing income and to prepare our clients for the future. In the last year we dealt with more than 5,000 requests for help and helped bring in £2m through successfu welfarel benefit claims.
