Those of you with long memories will remember that this time last year, Ana, Anna and Sarah, took on the challenge of participating in “Run Reigate” to raise much-needed funds for Stripey Stork. They weren’t sporty and definitely not runners but wanted to do their bit and managed to complete the 5K, for the most part, before the ½ marathon runners finished!

Ana & Sarah enjoyed it so much that they are giving it another go!  They’re both another year older, but a year fitter, taking advantage of a great gym membership benefit and although they won’t be the fastest by any means, this year they hope they won’t be last on the 5K timings 😊

They’re very happy to be joined in a TotalEnergies “Team Stork” by Jennifer Arnold, Holly O’Rourke, Josh Harvey & Michael Saunders.

Sarah comments: "As many of you know, through your volunteering days, Stripey Stork is a wonderful local Surrey-based charity that tirelessly works to support families in need. By collecting and distributing essential items such as baby equipment, clothes, toys, and furniture, they ensure that pre-loved items go directly to families who need them most. This not only fosters a sense of community and support but also promotes recycling and giving items a new life.

The need for Stripey Stork’s services has never been greater. More and more children in Surrey and Croydon are living in poverty and lacking essential day-to-day items such as school shoes, clothing, toys, and even beds and bedding. This is where we can make a real difference.
