The Core Paths network in and around Auchterarder is something which ACSR Core Paths Working Group is very proud of. Not only does it connect different areas within the town and provide safe paths to walk on, the path network also provides a vital resource for people of all ages and all abilities to enjoy participating in recreational activities within our town.
The paths are maintained by a crucial group of volunteers. There are two monthly volunteer 'Path Tidies'. These take place on the first Wednesday and third Sunday of each month, meeting at the APAFC Pavilion (Auchterarder Public Park), at 10am - and finishing around 12/12.30pm, often with coffee and cake in the Pavilion! All tools and training can be provided - and we'd welcome your help.
Another way people can help is by donating towards the on-going costs the group incurs: running and maintaining the equipment, buying specialist tools to aid the Path Tidies, purchasing plants, trees and flowers, buying benches so people can rest and enjoy the views from the paths etc. Any donation(s) would be gratefully accepted.
