Bridge to Bridge challenge to raise money for a new MUGA for my football club in Saffron Walden, Essex (SWCFC)

Hi, I'm Jaz, I'm 14 and I play for Saffron Walden Community Girls FC U15 Blacks.

I set myself the goal earlier this year (for my Bronze D of E) to run the distance from my town, Saffron Walden, to the Scottish border whilst raising money for my football club.

I’ve grown up with Saffron Walden Community Football Club (SWCFC) and the supportive and friendly group of girls and coaches have encouraged my love of sport and running, making it the inspiration for my challenge.

All the money raised will go towards refurbishing a new and much needed Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Crabtrees Football Ground in the town centre for the whole community to use and enjoy.

My challenge started at Adam Bridge (Audley End) in Saffron Walden, Essex and will finish at Coldstream Bridge in Scotland. I’m now on the home stretch with only 50 kilometres left of 490!
