This year, Danni and her lifelong friend Carla are taking on a 10K Fun Run to raise money for Angel Eyes NI.
Angel Eyes has been part of our family's journey for the past 10 years, ever since our youngest daughter, Jessica, was diagnosed with Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). From those early days of uncertainty, the charity has been there to help us understand Jessica's vision, navigate the challenges we faced, and ensure she had the support she needed at home and in school.
Over the years, Angel Eyes has provided our family with education, guidance, practical advice and emotional support whenever we have needed it. They have always gone above and beyond, and we honestly don't know where we would have been without them.
Carla has been part of Jessica's life since she was three years old. Growing up alongside her has given Carla a real understanding of visual impairment and the everyday challenges Jessica faces, making this fundraiser especially meaningful to her.
Danni has also grown up with the support of Angel Eyes NI. The positive impact the charity has had on our family inspired her to pursue a career working with children with additional needs, helping other families in the same way that Angel Eyes helped ours.
Now we would love to give something back.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Angel Eyes NI continue supporting children and young people with visual impairment and their families, ensuring they receive the advice, opportunities and encouragement they need from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey.
Thank you so much for supporting Danni and Carla. Your kindness will help Angel Eyes NI continue changing lives for families like ours.
