I am running the Blackburn 10k as part of the Run for Home team to support Kairos Housing.
I currently live in Kairos housing, so I know firsthand how vital this support is. For me, Kairos has been much more than just a house. It has given me a sense of a real family—guiding me towards new paths in life and helping me regain hope and purpose after being away from my homeland.
Kairos provides this safe place to belong for asylum seekers and refugees who have been forced to leave their own homes behind.
I don't have words strong enough to express my gratitude for the welcome I received, so I am running this race as my way of saying thank you. Please sponsor me to help Kairos continue their amazing work and provide a new start for others in our community.

The Blackburn 10k

I will be taking part in the Blackburn 10k. The race starts and finishes inside the famous Ewood Park stadium and runs through the town centre, taking in many local landmarks. I have been training hard to cross that finish line!
