In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of walking St Cuthbert’s Way from Melrose to Holy Island over four days. This beautiful but demanding pilgrimage will cover more than 60 miles, testing me both physically and mentally.
I am doing this to raise vital funds for The Light Group, who support people experiencing homelessness and addiction. They work tirelessly to help individuals access recovery, move into safe housing, and rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
This cause is deeply important to me. Every day, people are sleeping rough, struggling with addiction, and feeling forgotten. With the right support, lives can change—and I have seen first-hand how compassion, encouragement, and practical help can transform someone’s future.
Throughout this journey, I will be walking for those who cannot, carrying their stories with me every step of the way. The long days, unpredictable weather, and physical strain will be challenging, but nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by people without a safe place to call home.
All funds raised will go directly toward outreach work, recovery support, accommodation, and essential services. Your generosity will help provide warmth, safety, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. If you are unable to give financially, sharing this page would mean so much and will help spread the message further.
Thank you for standing with me and supporting this important work. Together, we can help bring hope, healing, and new beginnings to people who deserve a second chance.
